What modular data center solutions does ZTMM provide?
ZTMM provides Micro Modular Data Centers, Containerized Data Centers and AI Data Center Pods. Each solution can integrate racks, power, cooling, monitoring, fire protection and prefabricated supporting systems according to project requirements.
How does a micro modular data center differ from a containerized data center?
A micro modular data center is typically installed indoors and may range from one all-in-one rack to multiple enclosed rows. A containerized data center is factory-prefabricated for outdoor deployment and can combine IT, electrical and cooling modules at larger scale.
Is an AI Data Center Pod the same as a containerized IT Pod?
They overlap but are not identical. A containerized IT Pod is an IT module within a containerized project. An AI Data Center Pod is a broader high-density architecture for GPU and HPC racks and may be installed indoors, within a prefabricated hall or as part of a modular campus.
Does every IT Pod require a separate Electrical Pod?
Every IT Pod requires electrical infrastructure, but it does not always need a separately packaged Electrical Pod. A dedicated Electrical Pod is most useful when UPS, batteries, switchgear and distribution should be factory-integrated as an independent module.
Power & Cooling
What is the relationship between a Modular Chiller Station and a Hydronic Module?
The Modular Chiller Station generates chilled water and rejects heat. The Hydronic Module manages pumping, heat exchange, water distribution and controls between the cooling source and terminal equipment such as CDUs or CRAH units. They are related but distinct modules.
Is a CDU considered a module?
A coolant distribution unit is a functional liquid-cooling module. It separates and controls the facility-water and technology-cooling loops. Depending on capacity and layout, it may be rack-mounted, in-row, skid-mounted or integrated into a larger hydronic module.
How is the cooling architecture selected?
Selection depends on rack density, climate, water availability, heat-reuse goals, redundancy and the server cooling interface. Options include precision air cooling, chilled-water systems, direct-to-chip liquid cooling and hybrid air-and-liquid cooling.
What rack density can ZTMM support?
Delivered high-density projects include configurations above 150kW per rack. Higher rack densities can be engineered subject to the server platform, liquid-cooling interface, CDU capacity, facility-water temperatures, redundancy and site conditions.
Scale & Delivery
What project scale can ZTMM support?
Solutions range from an all-in-one rack with approximately 5kW total system power to modular campus designs above 50MW. Delivered containerized references cover 1MW to 5MW total facility power. Final capacity is defined by IT load, cooling, redundancy and site conditions.
How long does a modular data center project take to deliver?
The schedule depends on capacity, customization, approvals, cooling architecture, destination and site readiness. A complete program normally includes engineering approval, manufacturing, factory testing, shipping, installation and commissioning.
Can systems be shipped internationally and installed on site?
Yes. Projects can be prepared as transportable modules, skids or containerized systems. Packaging, lifting, shipping dimensions, local standards and the division of on-site work should be confirmed during engineering.
Which redundancy levels are available?
N, N+1, 2N and project-specific architectures can be evaluated for power and cooling. The appropriate level depends on availability targets, maintenance strategy, budget and the criticality of the workload.
Proposal & Quality
What information is needed for a preliminary proposal?
Please provide the project location, estimated IT load, rack quantity and density, preferred cooling method, redundancy target, available utility conditions, deployment timeline and any site or transport constraints.
Can customers review the system before shipment?
Factory acceptance testing can be included according to the project scope. The inspection plan may cover visual checks, electrical and control testing, alarms, cooling operation, documentation and agreed performance verification.
Are individual products available as well as complete solutions?
Yes. ZTMM focuses on integrated solutions but can also supply selected products and modules such as racks, precision cooling, UPS and distribution, Electrical Pods, CDUs, hydronic modules and modular chiller stations.
How is after-sales support defined?
Support is defined by project location and contract scope and may include remote technical support, documentation, commissioning guidance, training, spare-parts planning and coordination with local service resources.
