Cooling Architecture

The 1MW reference design uses a hybrid chilled-water and precision air-conditioning system for flexible container operation. The 5MW cluster is configured with liquid cooling and magnetic bearing chillers, a high-efficiency oil-free chiller architecture often used where high part-load efficiency, lower maintenance and stable cooling performance are required.

Integrated Systems

Power, cooling, liquid cooling and monitoring systems behind every deployment.

Electrical Pod E Pod

Prefabricated power system integrating UPS, battery backup, switchgear, low-voltage distribution and power monitoring.

Modular Chiller Station

Outdoor cooling plant module with chillers, pumps, water tanks, controls and piping for container clusters.

Hydronic Module

Pumping, heat exchange and water distribution module connecting cooling sources to CDU, CRAH or rack cooling loops.

CDU

Cooling Distribution Unit for direct-to-chip liquid cooling loops and high-density AI rack deployments.

Precision Cooling

In-row, room-level and container air-conditioning systems for micro modular and hybrid cooling designs.

DCIM Monitoring

Infrastructure monitoring for power, cooling, environment, alarms and operation visibility across modular deployments.

Factory-Built Delivery

Designed, assembled and tested before shipment.

Factory prefabrication reduces on-site work and keeps integration quality under control.

Modules can be inspected before shipment and assembled on site according to the project layout.

Suitable for overseas projects where local labor, schedule and site coordination are critical.

FAQ

Modular data center questions buyers usually ask.

What modular data center solutions does ZTMM provide?

ZTMM provides micro modular data centers, containerized data centers and AI Data Center Pods, with integrated power, cooling, racks, monitoring and factory-prefabricated delivery.

What is the difference between an AI Data Center Pod and a containerized IT Pod?

A containerized IT Pod is the IT module inside a containerized data center project. An AI Data Center Pod is a broader high-density prefabricated IT pod for AI and HPC deployments.

Does every indoor IT Pod need a separate Electrical Pod?

Not always. Indoor projects need electrical infrastructure, but it may be integrated in existing MEP rooms or packaged as a separate Electrical Pod for larger or faster deployments.

Where do Modular Chiller Station and Hydronic Module fit?

The Modular Chiller Station is the cooling source. The Hydronic Module distributes chilled water or process water to CDUs, CRAH units or rack cooling loops.

What project scale can ZTMM support?

ZTMM solutions scale from approximately 5kW total system power for a Warrior Series all-in-one rack to modular data center campus designs exceeding 50MW. Delivered containerized references cover 1MW-5MW total facility power. Final capacity depends on IT load, cooling configuration, redundancy and site conditions.

How long does a modular data center project take to deliver?

The schedule depends on capacity, cooling architecture, redundancy, customization and destination. Factory prefabrication and testing can reduce on-site construction time, while the final program also includes design approval, manufacturing, shipping, installation and commissioning.
